Hey Queens! Meet Nyanna Harris | Business Owners of Tomorrow

What’s the name of your business or organization? Business Owners of Tomorrow

Why did you start your business or organization? While highlighting my daughter's success on her business, parents to contact me asking for tips and assistance with their child. From there, my business was born. I began to speak at different schools and churches as well as host workshops in the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta area to inform youth and educators about the industry of entrepreneurship and it's availability for young people.

How are you helping people with your business or organization? We assist youth with everything business related. Starting from identifying their product or service, to business structure, logo creation, sales and marketing as well as writing a business plan. Since our 2018 inception, we have held 5 workshops and countless personal coaching sessions allowing us to reach over 500 scholars, several of which have operable business to date. Furthermore, we held our first out of start workshop this past May in Oxford, Alabama.

What is the significance of your business or organization? We exist to youth with options. Our scholars create a stream of income that can: a) prepare them for their future b) pay college tuition c) purchase items in cash and many more. Additionally, we offer services for parents who require assistance with being a parent manager, handling finances and balancing business and recreation.

What motivates you to continue in your business or organization? The truth is, not every child goes to college. And many that do either don't finish or don't work in their field. My organization exist to show them there is another way to earn income and be successful. There are so many talented young people who have a dream. However, they don't have a clear roadmap to getting that dream bout if their head, onto paper and bring it to fruition. I want to be the one to help them manifest those dreams.

Do you have any upcoming events to share? We are hosting a Youth Business Showcase on Oct. 5, 2019 from 12-4pm. Our goal is to have 20 young business owners earn a ton of money. We are featuring 13 year old DJ BenzMcRae and youth photographer Chrystal Brown. Entrance is free but registration is required. We are also seeking sponsors for this event..
