Hey Queens Meet A'Driana LaFaye | Author

What’s the name of your business or organization? A'Driana LaFaye, Self-Published Author

Who is your target audience? Mainly young women, ages 17+

Where are you located? Atlanta, GA

Why did you start your business or organization? I started publishing my writing because I wanted to bring issues that people face every day to the forefront. I want these topics to be a conversation piece and a way of putting yourself in someone else's shoes.

How are you helping people with your business or organization? By bringing up issues of domestic violence, infidelity, and various social problems, I believe I am helping people by continuing the conversation to bring awareness and possible coping mechanisms on how to recover from traumatic events. For example, my first book Tryals & Trybulations, now available on Amazon, addresses these issues of domestic violence, infidelity, insecurity, and so many more things that people deal with daily.

What is the significance of your business or organization? The significance of my business/organization would hopefully be to inspire others who have experienced the topics discussed in my books as well as show various ways of overcoming them in a way that works for them.

What motivates you to continue in your business or organization? What motivates me most is my circumstances and battles but also what is occurring locally and nationally, such as racial injustice, suicide, and depression, to name a few.

Do you have any upcoming events to share? I do have some upcoming events to share! I'm currently working on Tryals & Trybulations II. In 2020, I will be one of several co-authors in an eBook titled The Glambitious Guide to Winning in 2020. I'm hosting an author meet and greet in January. I also plan to be a vendor at a Small Business Workshop in Atlanta, GA. I will be a panelist at the All White Brunch at Essence Fest as well as at the Atlanta Glambitious Expo. I will be a vendor at the National Black Book Festival in Houston, TX.
